Saber is a visiting PhD student from the Marie Sklodowska-Curie program “SDGine for Healthy People and Cities” (https://sdgine.eu/) organized by Polytechnic University of Madrid in Spain.
After completing an MSc in chemical engineering, he has been working in industrial process design and development, specializing in separation systems.
His PhD project focuses on the decarbonization of industries, specifically on green methanol production. During his visit period, he is dedicated to developing a dynamic hydrogen electrolysis model that enables the direct integration of variable renewable energy (VER) sources to an electrolyzer unit.
The group is based in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CEB) in West Cambridge
