Catalysis and Process Integration |

The Catalysis and Process Integration (CaPI) group is an interdisciplinary group of engineers, materials scientists and chemists. We focus on the development of sustainable chemical technologies, combining multi-disciplinary aspects of reaction engineering, process integration, and heterogeneous catalysis.

Principal Investigator

Dr Laura Torrente (PI) is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. She has been leading for over 10 years the Catalysis and Process Integration group.

We combine aspects of reaction engineering, catalysis and process integration to tackle today's sustainable challenges. There is something for every taste in the group, going from fluid dynamics and modelling to material development.
